How To Wear Your Bomber Jacket This Winter

Hi, lovelies!

Jared and I are in a flurry packing for Quebec this week! From December 23rd to January 4th, we’ll be spending Christmas with his family in Montreal. As sad as I am to be spending my first ever Christmas away from my family (any advice from other engaged/newlywed couples?!), I’m super excited to be able to spend some time with my new family — I am SO blessed to be joining the Moore’s!

Although winter in Montreal is freezing cold, I can’t help but pack some of my favourite fall jackets to layer up under my coat. I’ve loved styling my bomber this fall, and I’ve found the perfect way to keep wearing it throughout the winter (even in cold Quebec).

Bomber jackets usually have a “boyfriend” fit, meaning they are slightly oversized.  The result is super casual, sexy, “borrowed from your boyfriend” look, and it’s the ideal fit to layer with!

In case you haven’t already noticed, my wardrobe is packed with sweaters, and turtlenecks are a favourite for winter time. They also happen to look SO GOOD with a slouchy bomber, like this one from Windsor Store. A turtleneck knit takes the outfit from super casual to put-together in seconds, and it’s the perfect way to get use out of my new bomber without freezing!

This is definitely a look I’ll be packing away for the winter break. I’d love to hear what your plans are for the holidays – let me know in the comments!
